1. Dangerous Laughter by Steven Millhouse
2. The Complete Stories of Franz Kafka
3. Pretty Monsters by Kelly Link
4. The Wine of Youth by John Fante
5. Notes of a Dirty Old Man by Charles Bukowski (not exactly short stories, but you should read it all the same)
