I stopped by the Alexander Wang sample sale today.
The line to get in took a bit long, but I came out with a few little treats.

I am incredibly excited about Christmas this year, I love holidays.
Things I want to do in the next week:

1. drink an excessive amount of hot caramel apple cider
2. finish my christmas shopping

It has been quite a while since my last post, I apologize for the long break.
I managed to find both a job and an apartment by the October 1st deadline I gave myself.

On another note, I was looking at Parlez-Vous Mae? the other day, and it reminded me just how much I love camel clothes against pale skin. It looks sickly and beautiful.
Time for a trip to the local goodwill.

I finally watched "The Runaways" (2010), which I actually enjoyed. More importantly though, within the movie I found the leather jacket I have been dreaming of since birth:

Marissa and I ventured to the outskirts of civilization today, aka Risom Mill Indoor Flea Market in Danielson, Connecticut.

This little baby was some of the best $3 I have ever spent.

Last night at 1 am I got the great idea to give tshirt shredding a try.
It took over 3 hours and my hands still feel a little sad, but all in all, I suppose it was worth it.

I have been going through old bags/boxes of clothing I had packed away at my dad's. Some of it has been packed away since high school, possibly even middle school, and as I reached my hand into a bag full of what I had assumed was all useless crap, I came out with this:

On a more positive note, I had the best week of thrifting I have probably ever had.
Highlights including a pair of eggplant, high waisted silk tap shorts, a black, mid calf length tank dress, black, high waisted trousers, a long sleeve, silk button down blouse in a tree bark print, and "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" on dvd.
On top of all that, the bf found himself a pair of perfect fitting A.P.C. jeans at goodwill.

It's just about time to clean out some of my old clothes.
