jil

This is one of my favorite ads of all time.
Clement Chabernaud has never looked so beautiful/creepy/androgynous.

It is moving time again, and my walls now look incredibly empty.
I put this up to make it feel a tiny bit less bare until we leave.

A little McQueen can really cheer a place right up.
And while I am on that note, here are a few reasons why that man made my life a much better place.

Stunning.

27

Yesterday was my birthday.
You cannot tell by this photo, but I was very excited.
I ate a lot of fried chicken and collards.

I have a good feeling about this year.

I just needed to share a photo of the lunch I had the other day, because it is what I wish I could eat all day every day:

chan

Dear Chan Marshall,

Every time I see a photo of you, you look so adorable that I get the urge to go back to having bangs. Please stop making me feel this way, it has taken a long time to grow them out.
Thank you.

Sincerely,
Lace

Yesterday, Courtney and I made our way out to Fort Tilden.
It took 2 trains, a shuttle, and a bus to get there.
The lack of people and the abundance of abandoned buildings made up for the long journey.

This may be a bit late.

I spent too much time today on the internet, looking at things I cannot afford.

Been feeling a bit more introverted than usual lately, someone needs to drag me out of the apartment this weekend. I am slowly but surely tiptoeing my way down the road of reclusion.

bibliophile

I have always been obsessed with libraries.
I spent much of my childhood hiding in the stacks of the Stratford Public Library dreaming up grand designs for the library I would one day have in my house.
It may be time to go on a tour of all the beautiful libraries in New England.

On a completely different note, I would like to own this:

sweater from aritzia

and this:

 dress from uo

and this:

 zana ring from meadowlark

die die dye

For the second time in my life I got the awful idea to dye my hair black. On some people, this looks mysterious and intriguing, on me however, it looks terrifying, and not in any sort of good way.
So, once again, I have had to buy dye remover, but this time, it has left my hair various shades of 90s grungy red with a couple blondish spots here and there.
I guess I'm just going to leave it this way.

Today is a day for floral print dresses and combat boots.
